Jazzy times are here again! For the fourth year in row, Ubud Village Jazz Festival brings the swing back in town. bridges is proud to support this festival which is focusing on promoting Indonesia’s amazing musical talent along international names under this year’s motto Embracing Uniqueness and Tolerance.
As part of the official pre-festival program, bridges is hosting the performance of the wordl famous Incognito in a lunch concert on Sunday, 7 August. The interesting mix of East and West European musicians and different, less known musical forms will make this concert a must for every jazz lover.
The concert will take place between 12:00-15:00 in bridges’ Riverside Dining room which is changed to accommodate a concert set up. The intimate room provides an up close and personal concert experience. You can come for a drink – our bar team has created special cocktails for the occasion – or for a lunch. The chef proposes delicious light lunch dishes and mouthwatering Indonesian tapas to share.
A really nice way to spend Sunday!

The enduring success of Incognito is one of the great stories of UK music during the last four decades. Look at the recent history of soulful UK artists and you will find any number of short-lived acts that have achieved pop success. Narrow it down to those that have created a uniquely British sound and have endured as a global phenomenon on their own terms, and the list becomes short. Dues, then, to Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick and Incognito, formed in 1979 and celebrating 36 years of positive vibes and undiluted Jazz-Funk in 2015.
